Originally from THE BIG APPLE “TEAM CALLAHAN” fell in love with the Town of Andes located in The Catskill Mountains. Already Experienced agents, they opened their own agency CALLAHAN CATSKILL REAL ESTATE in Andes NY in June of 2015!!! Joanne, a former Broadway dancer & actress, enjoys producing & performing standup comedy in the Catskills & NYC. She is a certified fitness professional/trainer, currently teaching Pilates at her Andes Fitness Studio. She stays involved with her first passion of dance by choreographing plays and dance concerts for local schools. Joanne also actively fundraises for the Heart of the Catskills Humane Society in Delhi NY.
Though Joanne recently lost the love of her life Eddie Callahan quite suddenly on 1/3/16 she will continue the business in his name Callahan Catskill Real Estate. The name Callahan means “protector”, Joanne will make her husband proud by carrying on the family name. New agents will be joining the team and are ready to protect your best interest.
She & her husband & business partner Eddie Callahan loved their Green Acres Life together (Dahling!!!!) which includes 3 goats, 2 miniature donkeys, 9 hens, 2 roosters, 9 dogs and 10 cats.
Joanne & Eddie believe whole heartedly in “opt to adopt” always encouraging their friends, relatives and aquaintences to do the same! 8 of their dogs and all of their cats are rescues from The Heart of The Catskills Humane Society. Visit the HCHS website at heartofthecatskills.org
