Community Square Dance

Dance outside in the Catskills to the sound of old time traditional string band music! A stellar lineup of musicians from all over New York State (fiddle, banjo, guitar, and bass players) will gather at the Andes Firehouse pavilion (location here) to play for the Big Andes Hoedown on Saturday, July 8th from 5.30pm till late

Don’t remember how to do-si-do or waltz? (or never learned)? No problem! The caller will teach the dances – which are fun for all ages – and then tell you when to do what. No partner necessary. Watchers and listeners also welcome.

Entry fee will be a suggested donation of $10-20 and food by Ty’s Tacoria will be available for purchase. All profits support the Andes Food Pantry.
